Meet the Maker
Welcome to Bert's Herbs. My interest in herbal remedies has turned into a passion, and I love learning, growing, and creating herbal products. God has given us amazing resources in our own backyards - we just need to seek them out. The herbs I use are sourced primarily from my chemical-free garden, or wildcrafted. Herbs that are not self-supplied are purchased from small businesses and are organic whenever possible. My family and friends have been enjoying my products for years, and I am hoping to share the benefits.
Bert's Herbs is named after our cat, Herbert. My husband and I adopted Bert (Herbert) when he was nearly 10 years old after losing our 18 year old friend, Scorpio. Due to sad circumstances, Herbert lost 2 owners, and was separated from another cat he was bonded to. With patience and time, Herbert learned to trust us, and ultimately the hole in each of our hearts was filled. I hope to honor Herbert and earn your trust by providing natural, quality products.

How it’s Made
The inspiration for this salve comes from my husband's hard working feet. Trapped in steel-toed boots 8+ hours a day, his feet not only had an odor of their own, but a "special" terrain as well. After using this foot salve, his feet are smooth, and their odor is contained to only the bravest soul who wishes to sniff his soles. I also have to wear steel-toed shoes, and can honestly say I noticed my shoes started to stink a bit when we briefly ran out of this foot salve.
The black walnuts I use to infuse the oil are wild-crafted from a chemical-free area near my home, and the eucalyptus is from plants purchased at a local greenhouse that I grow in my yard.

God blesses my garden differently each year, and this may affect product availability. This is a new venture for me, and while I hope the growing pains are minimal, I know there will be some along the way. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
